Located at 881 meters above the sea level, with a panoramic view on Lake Como, this little town is accessible by paved road from Argegno, winds along the Valle d’Intelvi, and by cable railway, which in five minutes exceeds a drop of 540 meters, allowing access to the village directly from Argegno.

Argegno is a small village overlooking Lake Como in the area of its major depth, and its proximity to Como, Tremezzina, and other popular Lake Como’s towns, makes it one of the most loved destinations by tourists from all around the world. With Lake Como in front and Valle d’Intelvi behind, Argegno represents a major turning point. Built in 1909, this exclusive Liberty style villa has been sympathetically restored to exceptional standards, adding the conveniences and comforts of modern living. The property measures 1,231 squares meters and can host up to 14 guests, offering eight double bedrooms (with additional beds available) and seven en-suite bathrooms. The spectacular view that can be admired from the main rooftop terrace and the bedrooms’ balconies instantly gives a sense of calm and tranquillity, making Villa Dei Due Laghi the ideal place for those who want to enjoy peace and quiet.

Immersed in a lush garden of 4.5 acres, this magnificent property is disposed on three levels and includes an exceptional yoga and wellness room that has been carved out of the cliff face, and that can easily accommodate up to eight yoga practitioners. The room also features an area with modern gym equipment from Techno-Gym, including a Kinesis training system, a rowing machine, an exercise bike, dumbbells, stretch bands, and exercise balls. Fitness lovers will be able to keep up with their workout regimen without leaving the comfort of their own villa while enjoying the outstanding views of the surrounding nature. An elevator easily connects the three main floors and the basement, where the caretakers apartment and the laundry can be found. The first floor houses four comfortable double bedrooms. The Piedmont Suite, complete with an en-suite bathroom, enjoys the Southern view over Lake Como. The Umbria Suite, the mirror image of the Tuscany Suite below it, is adjoined to the East-facing Abruzzo Suite, both sharing a large bathroom. The Apulia Suite, right above the Liguria Suite, offers its incomparable views of the surrounding mountains while creating a luminous and airy atmosphere inside the room.

The third floor features an exceptional open space with two large seating areas where guests can relax and choose from hundreds of channels on the satellite TV, or enjoy the entertainment options available, such as the projector screen, the music system and a wide selection of board games. For less sedentary entertainment, you might want to challenge your fellow guests to a game of billiard at the table situated on the same floor, which also houses a kitchenette and a WC.

The roof terraces providing stunning views over the lake and the surrounding mountains are accessed from this floor. One of the roof terraces also features an island-shaped bar and a raised viewing platform, making it the perfect place to enjoy a wonderful aperitivo while admiring the sunset.

Near the pool house, there are two additional al fresco dining areas where guests can intimately spend time together while enjoying traditional Italian food. There is also a changing room and a toilet carved into the rock face.

Property 1553697992 has its own luxury boat moored at Argegno to allow its guests to enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the water of Lake Como. Further comforts and amenities include mountain bikes, video games consoles, private parking and housekeeping staff. This includes the daily preparation of breakfast as well as one additional meal.
