Location and Surrounding Area
Located on the western shore of Lake Como, just a short drive from the center of Como, this magnificent property is the perfect place for a stylish Italian break by the lake that inspired composers, artists and poets. The villa is just a stone’s throw away from Como, the main city on Lake Como and a great base from which to explore the area and the nearby villages. Located on the Italian-Swiss border, Como overlooks the southwest end of its lake and is surrounded by green hills, resulting in unparalleled scenery.

Shaped like an upside-down Y, the lake is littered with villages, including exquisite Bellagio and Varenna. Where the southern and western shores converge is the lake's main town, Como, an elegant, prosperous Italian city. Among the area's siren calls are extraordinarily sumptuous villas, often graced with paradisiacal gardens. The mountainous terrain means that opportunities for taking bird's-eye views of the lake and its towns are numerous.

Reachable by boat, Bellagio is located at the top of the so-called Lariano Triangle. Bellagio represents one of the most famous and elegant towns of Lake Como, and is extremely well-known for its beautiful villas and gardens, mild climate and naturalistic-environmental characteristics of great charm. Situated in Varenna and surrounded by a spectacular botanical garden, Villa Monastero is one of the most interesting examples of Eclecticism around Lake Como.

Take a boat to Tremezzo, one of the most romantic places on the Lake Como, and visit Villa Carlotta. Built at the close of the 17th century, Villa Carlotta was enriched by valuable works of art, including incredible sculptures by Antonio Canova, still on display inside the villa. But the main attraction is its luxuriant garden by the calm waters of Lake Como, which is divided into two parts, an Italian garden designed in the 18th century and an English one laid out by princess Carlotta herself.

The villa is also a few kilometers from Menaggio, the most important center of the western coast of Lake Como. Thanks to its central position, Menaggio is the ideal starting point for any type of excursion: by boat, you can access the sumptuous villas of the lake, while on foot or by mountain bike you can discover the paths of Parco Val Sanagra. Golf lovers can enjoy an exclusive 18-hole course founded in 1907, and those who prefer sports can rent a kayak while enjoying the outstanding views of the surrounding nature.

The Property. With sweeping views of the calm waters of Lake Como, Property 1651263740 provides the perfect retreat for those seeking complete privacy and relaxation in one of the most evocative corners in Northern Italy. Offering a contemporary atmosphere, this villa has been recently renovated and boasts the most sophisticated décor. Complete with an exclusive infinity pool overlooking the lake, this modern villa can accommodate fourteen guests in seven bedrooms (5 double bedrooms and 2 twin rooms) spread over three floors.

The villa boasts several manicured terraced levels covering forty vertical meters from the main road to the lake front. Offering breathtaking views of the calm waters of Lake Como, this exclusive villa boasts an exclusive heated pool and a generous poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind. With a serene atmosphere, the outdoor area boasts generous panoramic terraces, dining areas and lounge areas for relaxing and socializing.

In a separate structure adjacent to the main house, you will find a gym and art room with beautiful views of the lake and grounds. The gym has treadmill, bike, elliptical machine and weights. Here you will also find a separate room for painting and/or other relaxing activities, a bathroom and a shower. A private dock allows direct lake access for swimming and rental boats and taxis to pick-up guests directly from the villa. Moreover, a private path directly links the villa to the village of Torno.

The villa can accommodate up to 14 adults + 4 children in nine bedrooms spread over the main villa and the detached house on the lake shore.

Main Villa: With large windows, the main villa features a generous living and dining area, a lounge area with TV corner, a comfortable TV room, a contemporary fully-equipped kitchen, a guest bathroom and a private sauna with cold plunge tub, which is located on the upper floor. In the main villa you will also find a staff area with kitchen, laundry room, linen area, a shared staff bedroom that can sleep three staff members (if they are fine with sharing a small room), with separate bathroom. Staff area has its own separate entrance.

The main villa can sleep up to 12 adults and 2 children in seven bedrooms spread over two floors. The first floor features: a master bedroom with queen-size bed, private balcony overlooking the lake, and en-suite bathroom with tub and shower; a junior master bedroom with queen-size bed, fireplace, lake views and en-suite bathroom with tub and shower; a double bedroom with queen-size bed, views of the lake and Torno, and en-suite bathroom with shower. All bedrooms feature air conditioning.

On the first floor you will also find a two-bedroom family suite featuring a double bedroom with queen bed and a children room with a bunk bed and pull-out sofa, sharing a bathroom with tub/shower and a steam room with separate shower, and a balcony overlooking the lake and Torno. The second floor has two bedrooms: a double bedroom with queen bed, lake views and en-suite bathroom with shower; and a twin room with en-suite bathroom with tub/shower. On this floor is also a sauna area with cold plunge tub.

Detached House on the Lake Shore: On the lower floor you will find a games room complete with table tennis, pool table, TV and fridge, and a guest bathroom. The lower ground floor of the boat house has an independent access. The ground floor of the boat house gives you access to a family suite with kitchen, cinema room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has its own independent access. On the ground floor you will find a spacious living room with dining area, a sitting room with large TV, and a fully-equipped kitchen.

The detached house on the lake shore can sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children in two bedrooms spread over two floors. The ground floor features a master bedroom with queen-size bed, lake views and en-suite bathroom with bathtub/shower. On this floor you will also find an additional private bathroom with shower (which can be used by the guests of the second bedroom). On the mezzanine level you will find a twin room with space for a third pull-out bed. This room is accessible from a small spiral staircase, suitable for kids.
